Byford Primary School is a coeducational government primary school located in the metropolitan location of Byford, Western Australia. The school has a total enrolment of 279 students, 53% are boys and 47% are girls. The school caters for years Kindergarten to grade 7.

Byford Primary School is located near South West Highway on the edge of the Perth Metropolitan area. It is located in a semi rural community in the Serpentine Jarrahdale Shire. The Byford community is expanding rapidly and many more students are enrolling in local schools. School facilities include a new Administration block, a Library-Resource Centre, eight permanent classrooms, a covered assembly area, and transportable classrooms accommodating Primary, PrePrimary, and Kindergarten students. The grounds comprise a grassed oval, multi purpose paved courts, lawn areas, playground equipment, a modular playground and cricket practice nets. Additional land adjacent to the school will be developed as student numbers increase. Parents are encouraged to participate in a variety of school activities, support teaching initiatives and assist learning programs. Weekly newsletters are distributed to students and emailed to the wider community. Student assemblies are held regularly and parents are encouraged to attend to learn about school activities. The Parents and Citizens Association provides a considerable level of support to the school through fundraising activities and working groups.
